Cable Force Optimization of Cable-Stayed Bridge Based on Multiobjective Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm with Mutation Operation and the Influence Matrix

To compensate the incapability of traditional cable force adjustment methods to automatically optimize forces, this paper proposes Midas/Civil and MATLAB as a structure calculator optimizer, external memory data transfer. Initial solutions from conventional can be optimized by internalizing influence matrix into multiobjective particle swarm optimization algorithm with mutation operation constructing mathematical model optimization, then, series Pareto frontier solution sets are obtained. For first time, fuzzy set theory is introduced for selecting presolution cable-stayed bridges, solve final reasonable dead load state bridges. By using method, peak vertical displacement main girder bridge decreased −11 mm −6 mm, reduction 45%. Before after difference negative bending moment at top pier was 34.8%, indicating that beam more evenly stressed alignment reasonable.
